Hello everyone!!!!
I am Sra. Hidalgo and as you know, I am from Spain and more specifically from Madrid.

I have been working as a teacher for  thirteen years in different public schools. I have worked in Madrid at all levels from Kindergarten to Primary School.

Last year,  I was working  at Henry P. Clough (Mendon, MA) teaching second grade in Spanish Immersion Program.

I have a Degree in Teaching and a second in Psychopedagogy. In addition, I try to stay up to date in both areas by attending courses, reading books and articles about education and looking for other resources online in order to improve my work.

I really like my job and I try to go beyond just teaching the curriculum by creating a good classroom climate, boosting the morale of the pupils, working on their emotional intelligence and using some techniques of brain gym and mindfulness which allow better learning. Children in the school learn to be part of the society which is why in my class they learn how to solve conflicts, both within themselves and with their peers, basing their relationships on respect.
